Once a family loses their sole breadwinner, and a wife becomes a widow, there has to be a helping hand for them to adequately continue their lives. It was Lala Maqsood who lent his hand for support. During the Coronovirus epidemic, he supplied 220 widows with food rations and utilities. Lala is aware that these hard-working, resilient ladies can survive without his donations – but life should not just be about survival. It was Lala’s wish to provide the widows with something a little extra, something that makes them feel special, something to enjoy. Witnessing the ladies’ eagerness to receive the rations as well as their grateful smiles during distribution proved that Lala’s helping hand made a big difference in many lives. Lala firmly believes that his actions will inspire others to do the same and step up to help the needy.
